Our AL-KO current style quick release detachable brake or bowden cables have a quick release button end which hooks into the AL-KO compensator.  The other end of the cable has a nipple on the inner cable and a 27mm diameter trumpet end which fits over the half shells on the backplate.  Our quick-release AL-KO brake cables were initially produced with black sheathing, whereas newer versions are produced with red PVC plastic sheathing and branded asprofessional long-life cables, and the steel inner cable has a plastic coating to increase cable performance and protect against corrosion.  They are fitted as standard to most current Indespension trailers and many other manufacturers' towed equipment.

Please measure the length of the red (or black) sheathed outer cable (including where it is crimped into the end fittings), and the length of the inner cable, to determine which cable you need to order.
