Our Knott stainless steel detachable brake or bowden cables have a blue outer sheathing, a piece of threaded bar at the compensator end, and a nipple on the inner cable with a 22mm diameter trumpet end the other end of the cable to fit over the half shells on the backplate.  These are used with up to 250 x 50mm Knott brake shoes and offer extra resilience because the inner wire is constructed from stainless steel for longer life.  These are especially used on boat trailers and other hard-wearing applications.

Please measure the length of the blue sheathed outer cable (including where it is crimped into the end fittings), and the length of the inner cable, to determine which cable you need to order.
