Our old style Knott non-detachable brake or bowden cables have a piece of threaded bar at the compensator end, and the other end of the cable has a non-removable eyelet which is fixed to the inner cable.  These are becoming fairly rare as the manufacturers stopped supplying these as standard fitment in 1988. 

PLEASE NOTE!  It can be easy to confuse our Knott detachable brake cables with these cables when the eyelet has rusted onto the detachable brake cable.  If the eyelet is (or was) removable, your brake cable is likely to be a detachable cable instead.

Please measure the length of the black sheathed outer cable (including where it is crimped into the end fittings), and the length of the inner cable, to determine which cable you need to order.
