Electrical Cable

When wiring or repairing trailer electrics, typically black seven core cable is used for older trailers with 7 pin plugs, 7 core grey cable for 12S supplementary wiring on older trailers, 8 core black cable for newer trailers with the eighth pin for the reverse lamp, or 12 core cable is used for newer trailers with 13 pin plugs where supplementary power is required in the trailer.  2 core cable is often used for additional feeds.
