AL-KO Kober Brake Cables

Our AL-KO brake (or bowden) cables are fitted to many trailers and pieces of towed equipment, and are especially found on older Ifor Williams trailers and many current Indespension trailers.  Older style AL-KO detachable brake cables had black sheathing and connected to the compensator via a piece of threaded bar.  Our newer AL-KO quick-release detachable brake cables have a quick release button end which hooks into the AL-KO quick-release 2-1 compensator (for single axle trailers) or 4-1 compensator (for twin axle trailers) - these were initially issued with black outer sheathing but are now supplied with a red PVC plastic outer.

Please check the end types, and measure the length of the red (or black) sheathed outer cable (including where it is crimped into the end fittings), and the length of the inner cable, to determine which cable you need to order.
